    2. What genre(s) do you write? Fantasy? Womens Fiction? I'm so totally not sure!

    3. Where are you on the path to publication? Published, querying, or writing/editing? Re Editing for the 1838384th time and on the third chapter of a new book

    10. Why do you write? Because I'm in love with writing! (shhhh don't tell my husband, he might get jealous!)

    Same :)

    Querying!

    Intermediate to advanced.

    Teaching :)

    Whenever I can! Usually in the evening.

    Several!

    If I could afford it and it was worthwhile, yes.

    9. Would you have your manuscript professionally edited before sending it out to agents?
    No--because I can't afford it. But I can afford for partials to be edited, and I have done that before.

    10. Why do you write?
    Because I enjoy it! It's something that is both challenging and fun for me, and I enjoy the entire process.

  4. 1. Mostly women's fiction and literary fiction, but I read any and everything.

    3. Writing 3rd book. Waiting on response to proposal for book 1.

    2. What genre(s) do you write? First was co-authored inspirational. Now womens fic.

    3. Where are you on the path to publication? Published, querying, or writing/editing?
    Current WIP - revising.

    4. Do you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate, or advanced writer?
    I like to think I'm advanced. :)

    5. Do you have a job other than writing? Care giver to Mom, mother of three teens, Co-editor/publisher Rose & Thorn Journal.

    6. When do you write? Whenever I can. No set schedule.

    Yes.

    Once took one on preparing NF synopsis pkg. from Brette Sember.

    Am thinking over that very question.

    Because I must.

  7. 1. What genre(s) do you read? Women's fiction, chick lit, contemporary romance, some YA (cross over stuff)
    2. What genre(s) do you write? See above!
    3. Where are you on the path to publication? Published, querying, or writing/editing? I;m in the editing phase of being published! I signed with Lyrical Press, an epublisher, a couple months ago!
    4. Do you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate, or advanced writer? Intermediate,I guess????
    5. Do you have a job other than writing? Not anymore.
    6. When do you write? In the afternoon when my son is napping!
    7. Are you a member of a critique group? YES!!
    8. Have you taken or would you take online writing courses? I have...it was okay...I learned far more from my real life critique group.
    9. Would you have your manuscript professionally edited before sending it out to agents? I don;t think so...I've learned so so much by doing it myself.
    10. Why do you write? I enjoy creating something that other people enjoy...I enjoy giving people a world to lose themselves in....I love giving people characters they can identify with, cry with, laugh with....

    3. Where are you on the path to publication? Published, querying, or writing/editing? Started a writers’ collective earlier this year. My book, Songs from the Other Side of the Wall, came out on September 1st

    4. Do you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate, or advanced writer? Anyone who ever thinks they’re not a beginner has to be kidding themselves

    5. Do you have a job other than writing? I’m a theologian/philosopher by training and a penpusher by trade.

    6. When do you write? An hour a night; every night, as soon as I get home, having spent the bus ride home thinking out what’s going to get written.

    7. Are you a member of a critique group? Online I’m part of Youwriteon, Authonomy, and The Boookshed

    8. Have you taken or would you take online writing courses? I haven’t, and I don’t think I would. I meet lots of lovely people on twitter and in the blogosphere and we all mull things through together.

    9. Would you have your manuscript professionally edited before sending it out to agents? I self-publish so I don’t send to agents. As a self-publisher I get my manuscript edited to within an inch of its life. If I were submitting, no, I wouldn’t, because I don’t think that’s what an agent’s looking for. They want to see a fresh voice, and you can’t edit in voice

    10. Why do you write? Because I can’t paint and I can’t sing. So I write about music and art instead

    I love young adult, especially scifi/fantasy

    YA scifi, maybe horror, depending on where my next WIP takes me

    3. Where are you on the path to publication? Published, querying, or writing/editing?
    Still revising, but very close to querying

    4. Do you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate, or advanced writer?
    I think I've reached the intermediate stage, but opinions may vary on that. ;)

    Yes, for now.

    Whenever I can. I only work part time, so Monday is dedicated to writing.

    Yes

    I haven't. Maybe someday.

    I haven't really considered this. Maybe.

    10. Why do you write?
    Stress relief. Creative outlet. Disconnecting from the real world. ;)

    I try to read everything but I tend to read historical romance more than anything else.

    Writing/editing

    I go to university... that counts as a job, right? LOL!

    Whenever I possibly can! Sadly, this tends to be at night or on the weekends.

    No.

    No, I haven't. And I might if it was something I'd be really interested in.

    No! That's a lot of money and I've learned from reading agent/editor blogs that it's really not worth your time to do it.

    10. Why do you write?
    Because I can't imagine not writing.
