Christmas is almost here. Can you believe it? Have you finished your shopping yet? I still have to buy for a few adults, but at least I have everything for the twins. Most of their gifts are even wrapped. Yay!
My time was 2:57. What was yours?
Any ideas on what I should get parents who have everything? Are you doing anything fun this weekend?

2:59 - you just beat me!
ReplyDeleteFor the person who has everything - gift cards are the only way to go.
Finished? I haven't even started! I struggle with that very question - what do you get parents, or anyone really, who already has everything they need?
ReplyDeleteAlex: Yay! I won, I won!!! hehehe
ReplyDeleteKatie: We should realize by now that leaving shopping for those people until the last minute only makes it harder and more stressful for us! LOL

3:08! Still not as fast as you, but faster than the average and for once I felt speedy!
ReplyDelete3:42 - You guys put me to shame.
ReplyDeleteFor the parents...tickets to something. I liked giving mine theater tickets but you can do sports everts, concerts, almost anything. Gives them a nice day or night out and doesn't add to their wealth of unneeded "stuff".
Lynnette, I think your parents would treasure a letter in which you enumerate the many ways they've blessed you, share some of the many memories you have of special times spent with them, and thank them for the legacy they've given you. I know that if I were to receive such a letter from our daughter someday, it would be the best gift ever.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to accompany the letter with a tangible gift, you could give them an empty picture frame accompanied by an I.O.U. for a photo of your family taken with them.
Thanks for the great ideas!
