Interested in a blogfest? Jodi Henry is sponsoring a query blogfest during the week of December 12-18. There'll be prizes. I'm supplying one of them: a choice between a query critique or a crit of the first 500 words of your manuscript. Plus, the chance to revise and resubmit. Check out her blog for more details.
Other updates: I’ve been sending out comments on the queries of participants in my last contest. I still have quite a few to go through, so if you haven’t received anything yet, don’t worry. It’s coming.
I won’t be posting Donna Hole’s revised query today. She was swamped with work this past week and hasn’t had a chance to redo her query.
Wednesday is my last blog critique unless I receive more entries. Hint, hint. Starting next week, in lieu of blog crits, I’ll post the query crits. That way, I can get back to my regular writing related posts on Mondays.
What writing issues are you struggling with?
Just struggling to find time to finish my next novel!
ReplyDeleteAlex, I hear ya. Time hasn't been on my side lately either.

Wow! I love how you always save time to help out those who will send in parts of their manuscripts. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be participating in Jodi's query blogfest. I would love a blog crit. Um...not sure how I can get one. I'm new here. And thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I haven't visited your blog before! I have twins also, by the way. Ten year old boys (along with a 13 year old boy).
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm juggling revisions on two books right now, but I like the revision process. It's more a time issue!
I signed up for Jodi's blogfest too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your patience on my revised query. And actually, that's what I'm doing here tonight - checking out your comments so I can get to work on it.

E. Arroyo: At the bottom of the blog crits, it says how to get your own. I'm posting a new one today.
ReplyDeleteJulie: That's neat that you have twins, too. Is there a reason you're doing revisions on two books? Just curious.
Donna: Have fun with the query revision. ;)
