Astrology Sign Verified

A fellow blogger had a list of astrology signs on her blog. I thought I'd pull my month off and see how accurate it really is...

JUNE:

Thinks far with vision: I do tend to have a vision for the future, whether or not it becomes a reality is another thing. LOL

Easily influenced by kindness: Yeah, can we say gullible? I've learned (the hard way) that often people who seem too nice really aren't at all who they appear to be. Now, I tend to hold back rather than trust someone right away. Too bad. Life would've been nicer if we could instantly trust.

Polite and soft-spoken: I'd like to think I'm polite, but I'm not really soft-spoken. I guess it depends on the situation. I used to be really outgoing, not necessarily loud though. Since I moved to a small town and am a stay-at-home mom, I've become more of an introvert. Yikes!


Having ideas: Too many ideas! My mind is always going, going, going! I guess that'll come in handy in my writing career, so I'm not complaining.

Sensitive: Sometimes I can be sensitive. Although, I hate to admit it. :)

Active mind: This kind of goes with the "too many ideas" section I just wrote about. However, I'll also add that it doesn't shut off when I sleep. My dreams are often very realistic. I've gotten some good writing material from them.

Hesitating, tends to delay: Yeah, that's true. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I'm afraid of making the wrong decision. I sometimes need more time than necessary to choose which ice cream to order! LOL It drives my husband crazy! Hey, I figure if I'm going to put mega calories into my body, I'd better really enjoy that ice cream.

Choosy and always wants the best: The best example of this was my seven page list of qualities I wanted in a mate. My friends thought I was nuts and too picky. They didn't think I'd ever settle down because this person didn't exist. They were wrong. When I met my husband, I started to tick things off the list as I got to know him. There were only two things I wasn't able to tick off and we've worked around them.

Temperamental: Does anyone ever really want to admit to this? I think I'll reserve that judgment for my friends and family. They'd know more than I would.

Funny and humorous: Yeah, like haven't you already noticed? Just kidding. I don't think I've actually posted anything too funny. I'm not sure that my writing is all that humorous. I think I tend to have a few witty comments in normal conversations more than in my writing, but I could be wrong.

Loves to joke: I love to be silly, but I'm not much of a joke teller. I just never got into that. Although, I do have a couple of jokes that I save for special occasions.

Good debating skills: I have always loved to argue. Although, I've become a lot more mellow as I get older. Pick your battles, as they say. However, when I was younger, I thought about becoming a prosecuting attorney because I loved to argue so much and I wanted to put the "bad guys" in prison.

Talkative: I can be when I'm with the right people. In fact, I used to have a little problem with my chatterbox mouth. Friends would often tell me to get to the point, skip the details and give them the short version. It took me a while, but eventually I figured out how to keep the details to myself. Maybe that's why I feel like more of an introvert now???

Daydreamer: Don't you have to be a daydreamer to write?

Friendly: Ah, sanks! You noticed!

Knows how to make friends: Yes, but since I've been burned, I'm a lot more cautious now.

Able to show character: I tend to show people who I am. I'm not about pretending to be someone I think they want me to be. I don't like people like that, so why would I do that myself?

Easily hurt: This is the same as sensitive, isn't it?

Prone to getting colds: I tend to get colds rather than the stomach flu. I'm just getting over one now, actually!

Loves to dress up: I do love to dress up, but only because it's an occasional thing. I actually prefer to wear jeans for every day events.

Easily bored: Yeah, that's the darn active mind working against me. I always have to be doing something.

Fussy: I tend to be a picky eater, but don't tell my husband I admitted it. Teehee.

Seldom shows emotions: I don't know if that's so true. I'm pretty sure people could read me like a book.

Takes time to recover when hurt: Yes. I don't hold grudges or get revenge, but that doesn't mean I'll let the same person get close enough to hurt me again.

Brand conscious: Nope. Not really into that.

Executive: Sure.

Stubborn: When I want to be.

So, that's it folks. I guess it was fairly accurate, but I've read others that have pegged me closer to who I really am. Still, it was a fun exercise. If you want to try it, here's the list:
